Major ongoing projects

Public procurement: renegotiation and administration of over 3.4 billion EURO road infrastructure project between the National Company of Motorways and National Roads S.A. and a major American investor. We provide legal counseling to some private Israelian, Spanish and Romanian investors in public procurement projects for works in road infrastructure and hospitals constructions, worth more than 100 million Euros. We provide our legal opinion to a public entity, regarding airships procurement, total worth more than 18 million EURO.
Arbitration: currently representing international & major Romanian companies as well as central & local authorities in high stake ICC arbitration located in Bucharest, Paris, Vienna and Zurich; advising and representing arbitration projects covering real-estate and pre-accession European funds, total worth between 5 and 10 million EURO.
Retail & distribution: we currently provide legal counseling to a multinational entity operating in the retail field, regarding land acquisition procedures, supermarket development and running specific business activities in Romania.

Competition: drafting law project regulating the general framework of anti-dumping measures and involved mechanism & authorities.
Concessions: negotiation of underground parking concession agreements in two top locations in Bucharest, total worth of more than 50 million EURO, and of communications concession projects, worth more than 200 million EURO.
Construction: we provide legal assistance in running FIDIC contracts for infrastructure projects developed by the local authorities valuing several million EURO, and also for a project for the recovery of a shipwreck, worth more than 5 million EURO, developed by a national shipping state authority and an American/Dutch/Romanian trust.
Urban development: development of several major construction project in north area of Bucharest, worth more than 30 million EURO.
Banking & Finance: several over 100 million EURO loan facility granted to public entities by international banks and international financial institutions; legal assistance in several private urban development projects regarding loan facilities granted by financial credit institutions. We provide legal assistance to non-banking international financial institutions, regarding investment loan facilities.
Litigation: we currently represent both private clients and public authorities in very important projects regarding disputed claims in the field of public procurement, valuing more than 100 million EURO, real estate projects worth more than 10 million EURO, insolvency procedures, fiscal disputed claims, and legal assistance in the labor and employment field.
Public-Private Partnership: negotiation of over 800 million EURO urban development project consisting in a PPP agreement between the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Housing and a major Canadian investor.
Oil & Energy: legal support to establishment and implementation of an e-payment program; currently advising a multinational company acting in the fuel & related sale business.
Labor & employment: "R&R" provides drafting of collective bargaining agreements in the field of transportation, employment agreements, compliance with Romanian employment laws, trade union matters, conflict of interests matters, covering all general aspects of Labor Law in the public sector, retail and distribution and constructions fields.

Tolls and duties: we provide legal assistance and legal court representation regarding VAT re-imbursements in the air transportation field, VAT deduction regarding rebates delivered through the IATA -BSP system, contributions to the special funds in the transportation field, legal assistance and court representation in matters of agreements for avoiding double taxation.
