For more than 10 years, Monica Raţiu has managed some of the most important projects in Romania in the legal area and she has been working in both domestic and international projects that involved some of the most important law firms in US, UK and Israel. In 2000, Monica Raţiu became specialised in commercial property matters while working on the premises of a multinational law firm in London.
Apart from her legal counselling work, Monica Raţiu has also been constantly teaching law in the Law Faculty of the Bucharest University, first as a junior teaching assistant, then as a teaching assistant and current as an assistant professor. In 2007, Monica Raţiu got a Ph.D. in law and started teaching Banking Law and Public Financial Law as a full-time assistant professor.
Monica Raţiu has been member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 1995. As of 2000, Monica Raţiu has also been a member of the Public Law Chair of the Law Faculty of the Bucharest University and since 2008 she has been a member of the Professorial Council of the Law Faculty of the Bucharest University.
Monica Raţiu speaks English, French and Hungarian fluently.
